Scientists and the Case of the Missing Manual

Editor’s Note:

This post is a call to reason, not a rejection of science. Science is beautiful when it reveals the wonders of creation. But when it becomes a religion in itself—rooted in pride and blind to design—it does humanity a disservice.

Imagine hiking deep into the woods, miles from civilization. Tired, breathless, and ready to turn back, your eyes suddenly fall upon a breathtaking structure—an architectural marvel suspended mid-air, glowing with elegance and precision. It's the only building around, surrounded by crumbling shacks and endless trees. You inch closer. A protective wall surrounds it. Out of curiosity, you toss a stone toward it—it instantly disintegrates. Gates open on cue, as if expecting you.

You walk through a pristine garden of multicolored roses and fruit trees, inhaling an intoxicating fragrance. A fully functional purification system and a colossal energy source hum gently in the background. Inside? A temperature-controlled, oxygen-rich haven. Every detail speaks of intelligence, intention, and purpose.

Your first question? “Who built this?” Not what, but who. Because a rational mind recognizes that such design demands a designer. And if the designer wanted others to enjoy and benefit from this marvel, surely, He would include a manual—instructions on how to live in and maintain such brilliance.

Now think. If mortal inventors, limited by time and intellect, always include manuals for their creations which are much more inferior compared to the intricatly built universe would the infinitely superior Mind behind our universe leave us without one?

That’s the irony.

The universe—infinitely more complex and breathtaking than any smart house—bears the unmistakable fingerprints of a Master Architect. The human body, the Earth’s ecosystem, the galaxies—all demonstrate design far beyond the reach of chance. Yet, many in the scientific community have chosen to sideline this obvious truth.

Rather than point to the Intelligence behind the order, they exalt themselves as “discoverers.” But discovery is not creation. They use the very brains wired by the Creator to unravel His mysteries—then slap their own labels on it and call it science. Theories like the Big Bang and Evolution aim to explain the how, yet desperately dodge the Who. It’s the greatest cover-up of our time: the case of the missing manual.

But the manual isn’t missing.

The Creator did leave us a comprehensive guide—a manual that explains origin, purpose, morality, relationships, and destiny. It has stood the test of time, and its principles, when followed, bring clarity, peace, and meaning. It’s called the Bible.

So, the next time you're in awe of nature or marvel at the intricacies of life, ask not just how it works—but Who made it, and why. Because truth, purpose, and freedom often begin with a question.

Life is simple, there's no need to complicate it!

Closing Thought:

It’s time to stop applauding the discoverers while ignoring the Designer. Open the Manual. You just might find what you’ve been missing.
